Chalkida joins the European Week of Winter Sport 2026, 01 February with an inclusive outdoor kayaking event that brings people together through movement, nature and community.
Organized by the Elliniko Somateio Dynamikou Triathlou, in collaboration with Panhellenic Association SOS KIDS LAMPSI and the Sports Club “SOS KIDS of Shine”, the event is open to people of all ages and abilities, including persons with disabilities.
Participants will enjoy a safe and guided kayaking experience on calm waters, proving that winter sport can be accessible, fun and sustainable — even without snow.
The European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS) is a European initiative co-funded by the European Union, promoting inclusive and community-based winter activities across Europe.
